Episode 66: Placement Spotlight Series - Kim Taube

Hello everyone! Welcome to our Placement Spotlight Series. In these episodes we’ll be interviewing preceptors and students at unique placements. In this episode, we had the pleasure of interviewing Kim Taube, a pharmacist working at the Edmonton Remand Center. Practicing to her full scope, Kim has her APA and is also a Certified Diabetes Educator. Not to be outdone, however, by our other esteemed guests, Kim’s other roles include being the current Vice-Chair of the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists’ Education Committee, a Lab Facilitator for the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Alberta, and is involved with vaccination administration at the Edmonton Remand Center. When she is able to find some free time, you’ll probably have a good chance of finding her at the High Level Diner, enjoying their fantastic cinnamon buns!
