In today’s episode, we have a very special guest who’s kind of done everything under the pharmacy sun. In 1996, she completed her Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Saskatchewan before going on to get her PharmD from the University of British Columbia in 2000. With her added training, she then practiced at Vancouver General Hospital, specializing in the field of neuroscience, one of the first pharmacists in Canada to do so. In 2005, her career brought her to Edmonton, where she became a Clinical Practice Leader and then Clinical Practice Manager with Alberta Health Services. It is thus our pleasure to have this esteemed pharmacist, Dr. Tania Mysak joining our podcast for today's episode!

In today’s episode, we have a pharmacist who’s put on a variety of different hats throughout her career. She graduated in 2006 with her Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Alberta before working in the community in Alberta and Nova Scotia. In 2007, she moved into oncology at the Cross Cancer Institute and eventually worked up into a Pharmacy Manager Role and Assistant Director for the Cancer Care Alberta pharmacy team. Following that, in 2012, she stepped further away from clinical practice to manage a leadership role overseeing performance for the provincial Pharmacy Services team with Alberta Health Services. Most recently, she completed her MBA at the University of British Columbia, and is poised to continue making a significant contribution to pharmacy practice.
